POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA (PGD) ADMISSION GUIDELINES
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Admission into the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) programmes of the University is open to prospective candidates who must satisfy the following requirements:
i. Possession of at least five (5) credit passes at O’Level (SSCE, WAEC, GCE or NECO), including English Language and Mathematics.
ii. A Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division) from a recognised and approved university.
iii. A Higher National Diploma (HND) in related fields with a minimum of Lower Credit from a recognised institution.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
1. Your E-mail address on this platform will serve as your Username, while your Surname will be used as your Password.
2. Applicants are required to make a non-refundable payment of ₦25,000.00 (Twenty-Five Thousand Naira only) into the LASUED designated account.
3. Proceed to complete the Postgraduate Application Form online by visiting the University Postgraduate Admission Portal via www.lasued.edu.ng.
4. Complete the application form step-by-step and submit it online at the final stage.
5. After successful submission, applicants are required to print a copy of the e-registration slip for reference.
IMPORTANT NOTES
i. Candidates who have not completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme are not eligible to apply.
ii. Academic transcripts for first degree programmes must be received by the University not later than two (2) weeks after the close of sale of application forms.
iii. All shortlisted candidates will be required to participate in a compulsory interview.
COURSE DURATION
The Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) programme runs for a minimum duration of two (2) academic sessions, comprising four (4) semesters.
